Prince Edward Islanders are betrayed in Ottawa because they send barking seals for the Party to serve there. The national interests of any Federal Party are not the interests of Islanders or the four Members of Parliament ‘nobodies’. Islanders could send four members who would be the balance of power in Canada.

Islanders have been ballyhooed for to long, fleeced of representative voices in Parliament as they consign nobodies to serve for National party interests. Islanders have failed to realize they all have a common enemy, they are being told by the parties to compete with their neighbours and communities for the ‘Party’.

Pierre Trudeau himself considered backbenchers ‘nobodies’, shudder to think what he would call the three stooges sitting for PEI in the third party  Liberal caucus? Islanders and the Maritimes are being sabotaged by National parties, no members of Parliament in the Maritimes are dedicated to the Maritimes first, not one of them. Western Canada starts at the Quebec border, period. There are 30 more seats in the next Federal election, all in the west. There are only 32 seats in the Maritimes, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Maritimers need to start working together, right now the common enemy is themselves? Polling for the Federal elections almost uniformly calls for a Minority Conservative government. PEI could control the House, but Islanders have given themselves to a shiny pony, and a wish for the good old days of Liberal majority, not gonna happen. Strategic electoral voting can be more enormous than a ‘Party’ if a Province would work together.
