THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO – SOME INTERESTING CONCEPTS – AND SOME TRUTHS!
The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
It isn’t hard to see a wold in black and white, total duality. The Paradigm of Good and Evil fits into this duality matrix of creation. Yet in other esoteric philosophies the message is more unified in that “It’s all Good”. Our own sense of judgement creates the paradox of Good and Evil. In the moral context, what was evil last century is considered good today and what was good is now bad. Judgement for some things is malleable.
Bad things happen, in fact horrible things happen. Many people on planet earth live in hell like conditions.
Let’s define the meaning of evil.
Evil : adjective, noun
profoundly immoral and wicked.
synonyms: wicked, bad, wrong, morally wrong, wrongful, immoral, sinful, ungodly, unholy, foul, vile, base, ignoble, dishonourable, corrupt, iniquitous, depraved, degenerate, villainous, nefarious, sinister, vicious, malicious, malevolent, demonic, devilish, diabolic, diabolical, fiendish, dark, black-hearted; monstrous, shocking, despicable, atrocious, heinous, odious, contemptible, horrible, execrable; informallow-down, stinking, dirty, shady, warped, bent, crooked; archaicdastardly, black; rareegregious, flagitious, peccable.
In the biblical sense the Evil One, Satan, is the resistor and challenger of Gods will, Divine Will. It is Satan who challenges any who seek to do the will of god on earth. However you look at it, the notion of Evil can be defined as anything in opposition to divine will, which can be considered good. Yet when we dig a little deeper and understand that the allowance of Evil is a part of Gods will, then we can end the duality and recognise that it’s all good. But how does evil have a place in the divine plan?
In Ancient Egyptian mysticism, the Opposer SET, is the Neter of power, desolation, the deserts and wastelands. Set rules the lands of the outcasts, his dominion is the 8th step atop the pyramid of becoming and blocks the pathway of any who try to reach beyond into the supernal 9th and final step into the realm of the Gods. He is the final Lord of the Underworld one must face before they attain Illumination.
In the world of Maya, divine power is externalised, humanity reduced to pawns on a chessboard. Tossed about, broken and confused the spirit of humanity is here to learn a valuable lesson, crucial in its process of evolution, crucial to its process of becoming.
The lesson is one of our own divine power. When the external God of the Old Testament banishes his creation from Eden, it is like the Mother bird pushing her chicks from the nest. It is a scary and harsh lesson in flight.
When the Great Sun God RA “sets” and the world is plunged into darkness, humanity is left to fend for itself. We are called to discover that in truth “The Kingdom of Heaven is within” we are the Light of spirit, God and Goddess resides within us, we are the holy temple to the divine. In truth we are never apart from the divine.
If we succumb to the illusion that we are separate, forsaken and abandoned by the divine, then we succumb to the illusion of death, duality and the Good Vs Evil paradigm. A fight we cannot win, for we are fighting an illusion. Just like the bird that when cast from the nest is too afraid to spread its wings and fly. This is when humanity comes of age. What loving mother would cast its child from the nest? What loving father would cast its children from the garden? Because it is all part of the plan. It’s time to know the divine within. It’s time to fly.
Evil is an expression of that disconnect. Evil is the fallen, falling to their deaths to afraid to open their hearts. Evil is the banished wallowing in their misery in search of their lost god, fighting for survival over scraps they can find in the wilderness. Evil is humanities rejection of their own divinity, and the proliferation of the lies and deceit that support such illusions. The truth is, you are the light and the light is you.
“As I walk through the valley in the shadow of death I will fear no Evil..”
