We were watching Tropical Storm “Don”, and it seems Florida could still get some heavy weather. “Don”? Really?
Chances tick up for tropical system to form in Atlantic, hurricane center says
We had a wicked wind storm last night that knocked over trash bins and recycling was strewn all over; it uprooted trees, broke branches, and tossed our umbrella in the pool despite the 50 lb. weight on it even when it was all tied up snugly. The pool was loaded with leaves and dirt and to add insult to injury we got nary a drop of rain. It was all south of us. It did take the temperature down five degrees or so so our walk this morning was slightly more tolerable, but at the end of the day, our monsoons are still MIA.

This alert is interesting in light of what Q spoke of regarding when the power goes out, patriots are in control. There is a tremendous demand on power in the highly populated NE USA… and a lot of criminals hiding in the cracks and crannies.
!!! LEVEL ONE ELECTRIC GRID EMERGENCY DECLARED!!!! PJM Interconnection, LLC, has declared a “Level 1” EMERGENCY for the 13 state eastern United States electrical grid. PJM has directed all power plants to increase output to “full capacity” today, Thursday, July 27, because of a heat wave.
PJM operates the largest US electric grid. They issued the “ENERGY EMERGENCY ALERT LEVEL ONE” because PJM is concerned about being able to maintain adequate electric power reserves on July 27.
