Never underestimate the power of prayer.

Several concurrent dreams occurred concerning colonies of cats. In one, a cat had been hit by a car. Although the cat was not killed he was fatally injured. In the last dream (also about a cat colony) a white butterfly landed on my hand – then I awoke.

I’ve written about the dream interpretation of CATS before, but this time I think these kitties represented the grief and worry I was experiencing. You see, someone here in the complex had lost their cat and posted signs at all the mailboxes with a note not to chase him, but call the phone number provided with details (where and when). I had been praying really hard to keep the kitty safe until he could be re-united with his human – remembering the heartache I experienced when Ortoloni went missing. I took a picture of the sign as my magickal workings seem to perform better when I have a visual to focus on.

White butterflies in dreams are messengers from the Spirit World. Its message was telling me that my prayers had been answered…

When Tim went to retrieve the mail yesterday he notice the “Missing Cat” post had been taken down. We both took this as a sign that the kitty was safe and sound; re-united with his human. (When a pet owner goes through the trouble of posting signs with their phone number, they don’t just give up hope. I didn’t – MY lost cat signs remained up until Ortoloni was safely in my arms again.)
