August 24, 2023: Return from the North Forty & Current Revelations [videos]
Starship Earth: The Big Picture

We’re back… and it was an uneventful and surprising two weeks; not what I was expecting.
I can’t do a typical post today because we have much to do to put our life back together and besides: no one ever had a television on when we were visiting so I have to read your comments to get caught up!
What I will say is that the border crossings were shocking: one car ahead of us in the line and just a couple of questions after submitting our passports [to enter Canada] and our green cards to enter the US, and boom! We’re done. Have a nice day. We definitely chose the right ports of entry.
Sarnia was fantastic for exiting Michigan, and Massena was picturesque as we jumped on and off the island over to New York.
After traversing 16 states, it seems like the United States is rebuilding. I can’t recall how many bridges/overpasses were under construction. There were lane reductions in many states while they did road work and we made some interesting detours to bypass the bumper to bumper traffic.
We used to joke that in Canada there were two seasons: winter and construction. The US has us beat for the latter.
Probably the most negative thing we noticed was the traffic in Toronto is literally insane. It was bumper to bumper everywhere and I could never live there again.
Then there was all the rain—daily, in so many states and Ontario. Every day was a bad hair day with that humidity and there was next to no rain here in the valley that whole time. July monsoons have still not materialized here, although there were storms and rain up on the reservation yesterday near Kayenta and light rain down to Flagstaff. Hurricane Hitlary didn’t seem to do much here more than cause a little drizzle one morning and bring a freak, high wind that put the neighbour’s closed umbrella in her pool.
You may have seen this little number on Telegram.
One of the most interesting things I saw was a massive train in New Mexico with a LOT of Evergreen containers on it. We saw a couple of Evergreen containers on an Iowa train, as well. And there were all those unique toadstools in the sodden woods in Kingston.
In my little home town as we were driving with family to have dinner on the river, the car radio had a talk show on and the subject was Human trafficking. Other than that I was not exposed to media at all other than the blurbs of headlines Google pushes to my Android—and it’s usually a day or two old.
Maui seems to be the topic of conversation if we heard a bit of news in Canada and it surfaced in conversation, but thankfully I was never subjected to the Great White Gulag’s lying, treasonous media. Some folks know that the jab is a bad thing and all about the Big Pharma money—especially for pets, and that is encouraging. Others flock to get their “boosters” without encouragement.
My cousin’s wife, who is like a sister to me and actually lived in the US in her early years until she became a Canadian citizen, doesn’t like Trump because she believes the media. She thinks he’s a “crook”, but she also says Turdeau is the most hated PM ever. She’s 50% right but the conversation never goes any further because my cousin kicks her under the table so we don’t have an argument. It’s comical. In the little town of Kaladar there was a “F*** Trudeau” sign next to the highway.
Eli had the most wonderful time at the sitter’s and kept her grandson occupied. It was too hot for her to walk Eli, but she swam with him three times a day and he fetched his floaties. She texted me photos every day and I could see that Eli was happy. We were so lucky to find her because she really loves Eli and says he is a special Golden.
When I told her we would be in Denver on Tuesday night she told us to go back to Iowa. When I said yes, we would be making that pull home on Wednesday to get Eli she said to ask Hubby to take me to Santa Fe. When I asked her if I needed to bring that SWAT team with me she replied, “Possibly.”
Fortunately, Eli remembered us, went bat-shit crazy for a few minutes, and then ran to the truck and jumped in all by himself. Usually he stands at the passenger door and makes us boost him in. He was wound up all night as we unpacked the vehicle and put things away and managed to nab a package of meat sticks out of a bag and settled on his “place” to chow down when Dad caught him in the act. Today he is useless and very sleepy other than our usual 6 a.m. walk. He didn’t even get up when I made toast. It was good for him to hang out with different folks and learn about little people for awhile but I sure missed him.
It is a relief to have complied with my mother’s last wishes after precisely three years to the day and distributed her ashes in a treasured family gathering spot on a beautiful day with some cousins there for support. Somehow the six boxes of things I had set aside for me to pick up to remember her by seem to have been either separated or liberated as we were told they were shipped to family in Winnipeg but the hunt continues when my cousins return home.
As it were, I came home with a massive load of family photos, papers, and memorabilia from the boxes I did get. I also brought home a big bundle of family photos and history from my father’s collection so my work is cut out for me as family members are asking for meaningful aspects to be shared so they can be handed down.
Thank you to the crew for all for the links and headlines you shared while I was away. I desperately need them to figure out what I missed. I’m sure most have realized that those images of Maui are identical to the ones from Paradise, CA; Waldo Canyon, CO; the World Trade Center; Lytton, BC; Fort McMurray, AB, and other places where DEWs were used.
If you haven’t seen this footage from Turkey that I just found—holy crap. There it is—right in front of our eyes. Real “climate change”.

Turkey Fires Global Communist Climate Change being started in Turkey captured on film. Wake up please.
We saw areas along the Interstate last evening where forest fires had roared through and they looked nothing like those areas where houses were dustified to white ash while green trees still stood next to them. I doubt if anyone in an official capacity will declare those attacks in Hawai’i as “warfare” because they don’t want to scare people. But we know. There are a number of narratives out there including about the Human trafficking and land grabs to keep people guessing.
Hopefully I will be sitting down at the keyboard tomorrow with something intelligent to say. Until then—carry on! ~ BP
