You can’t understand Hamas (and dozens of other jihadist groups) until you understand this. When former Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said that “We love death like our enemies love life”, this wasn’t just empty rhetoric. He was dead serious.

My comment: I dealt wth this subject when the attack by the Hamas terrorists took place on Oct. 7th. The radical and extremist views that Muslims must die for their cause is wrong minded and flat out suicidal. The best thing a group of people should do is avoid confrontations with an all powerful enemy and migrate to a safe area where they can raise their families in peace.
To swallow the deception that they must fight and die for their cause is destructive and perpetuates hardship and death for their families from then on. The killing never ends.

In addition to that, a tyrannical government that rules by force welcomes violent dissidents and displays that acivity to the world as justification for their overreach and cruel rulership over their internal enemies. It is a symbiotic relationship. Both sides find their place in the death cult system.

It is not healthy or wholesome for the Palestinians to resist the Israeli government. It is better to leave the area, stop the fighting and live in peace for generations to come – in a new land free from political abuse and war.

However, it takes courage to make that decision and walk away. It is easier to succumb to hate and the excitement of war. The resistors then become adrenaline junkies that are addicted to violence and hate without even knowing it is controlling their lives like a drug.

The Palestinians have been treated like second class citizens for 75 years. They were attacked by an occupying force and had their land stolen. Tens of thousands were killed in that war. Afterwards, they were hired as low class workers at peasant wages. It is no wonder they are upset and want to resist. This is obvious and understandable.

But in this case, it is foolhardy to resist an all powerful enemy. It is wrong minded and suicidal, regardless of the twisted religious and political excuses to go to war.

The Palestininians were easy targets by religious fanatics and deceived them with war rhetoric. Before long they found themselves holding up their dead babies to show the world how abused and down trodden they are.
But, if they would have chosen peace and avoided confrontations, they could have been holding up their “living” children in a new home away from war – for generations to come.
This is what the Pilgrims did in 1620 as they arrived in America and lived in peace with their families 400 years. War is not the answer. There is a solution to the Middle East conflicts, but it requires wisdom and courage to make that decision. George Eaton
