This also works on other search engines, even those that don’t control information.

One person was killed and emergency crews were responding after a freight train struck a semi truck that was stopped on the Norfolk Southern railyard tracks in Chicago, the Chicago Fire Department said.
The incident occurred Monday morning in the Norfolk Southern railyard at 350 West Garfield Boulevard, a tweet from CFD said.
Fire officials said there was a fatality involved in the incident and crews were working on a “recovery mission.” No other details on injuries were provided.

Apparently the majority of those polled said they believed the recent Space X rocket was about penetrating the firmament. We’ve come a long way, haven’t we?
To end on a high note with a touch of humour, you might enjoy this old cartoon which, like many of them, seemed to contain hints or warnings about the future. It’s called, “The Big Snit”, about a loopy, dysfunctional couple. We have a man who seems hypnotized by television into sawing through furniture, etc. and is enraged by his wife removing her eyes and shaking them so they rattle.
There is a warning on the TV that a nuclear attack is imminent but neither one hears it, so immersed in their psychoses are they, and they missed the whole thing. Were they telling us that TV is an evil tool, and that we had better pay attention rather than being distracted by games, sports, television, and the daily grind of life? It’s an interesting one; hysterically funny, poignant, and in a sense, grim. 10 min.
And that will do it for today. Sorry for the lapse in service on Sunday/Monday, my friends. You don’t need to worry about me. Number One knows what a numbskull I am and since he set up the Telegram channels for us, he can communicate with you if anything happens, as he did on my behalf.
For those not on Telegram, my credit card was compromised awhile back and I only renew my website hosting services every two years so when I updated my records with my new account number, apparently I didn’t include the hosting company. When the auto-renewal tried to process, it failed and they discontinued my hosting and my domain name wasn’t claimed, etc. It takes quite a few hours for the Name Servers to be updated all over the world so we were down quite awhile.
Since it’s an extra-busy time of year I have been cutting corners by not reading all my email so I missed the communiqué from the hosting company. My bad. Fortunately, Number One is an expert on this stuff and kept nipping at my heels until it was taken care of and I was able to log into the bridge last night. After more than 12 years you’d think I’d be on top of this stuff.
If you’re travelling for Thanksgiving and won’t be checking in with us for a couple of days, have a wonderful time. I probably won’t be posting on Thursday as I am preparing a meal for guests but will be back on that special day—Friday. Can you believe it’s almost December?!
Regardless of what day it is, it is a time for thanks, for gratitude, and appreciation. I am thankful for something as simple as the few hours of light rain we had on Saturday morning; the first in months. Although these are trying times for many reasons, we are indeed blessed because the alternative would have been the end of our civilization and the triumph of evil over good. That potential outcome has been reversed and we are in the clear. We’re here to stay and soon we will be able to have intelligent conversations with most people again.
