Have you ever wondered if your soul is from another star system, dimension or galaxy?

Did you ever feel like earth is not your ‘home planet’ or that you are here to transform human existence on this one?

If so, you may be a star seed.

Star seeds are beings who have experienced life elsewhere in the universe, but have been planted in the soil of earth.

The term sounds really new agey. Brad Steiger first introduced it to the modern vernacular in his 1976 book, “Gods of Aquarius.” His ideas can be traced to Madame Blavatksy, the 19th century mystic and to Alice Bailey, one of the first to use the term New Age.

However, the starseed concept has a very ancient origin.

IT’S GREEK.

The Stoics of Greece in the 3rd century B.C. are credited with first discussing the conception of our soul as a divine spark, a divine seed, seeded from the stars; a star seed. The soul is a seed that manifests (makes physical) our physical human body and animates it, they said. They produced a way of living based on this philosophy, one that tilled the soil of earth for their soul.

The Stoics further believed the whole universe was one living being, one mind.

The combined belief in the universe as a living being and soul as a star/seed/spark is referred to in Virgil’s epic poem Aeneid:

Thence, man’s race, and the beast and the feathered creature that flies,

All wild shapes that are hidden the gleaming waters beneath,

Each elemental seed has a fiery force from the skies,

Each its heavenly being, that no dull clay can disguise.

Virgil said living things have within them a stellar or star seed, which has a fiery force from heaven. The dull clay that cannot disguise its light is the DNA of earth.

Sibyl, a prophetess, tells him he can only enter the Underworld to meet the ghost of his father if he offers Persephone a golden bough cut from a sacred tree. Sibyl holds a sickle and the freshly cut bough, in front of Lake Avernus, the legendary (star)gateway to the Underworld. The dancing figures are the Fates who dance before the illuminated gate.

Virgil believed that when the soul returns to its original fiery state, it regains its purity and becomes godlike. This echoes the ancient Egyptian belief that after death their deceased kings rise to heavens and transform into a star. The ancient Egyptian Pyramid Texts tell describe the king ascending and becoming the Morning Star among the Imperishable Stars of past kings. In so doing, they become star walkers.
