Not everywhere has a surplus of water, however, like in Calgary, Alberta Canada where it rained all of May. The city is at the confluence of two rivers and the Bow River is full but a little watermain allegedly failed in the west end of town and the ENTIRE CITY of 1.6 million people plus a few outlying communities are now on severe water restrictions. AND City Council just decided the temporary water restrictions should be permanent! It’s hysterical. When you know, you know.

Are people waking up yet? They said in February that water restrictions would be coming to Calgary due to drought. When Mother Nature failed to cooperate and gave us rain, they had to go to Plan B! A water main break is easy to explain as “accidental”!

This whole thing with the water situation in NW Calgary doesn’t make any sense. According to the water main map NW Calgary is supplied exclusively from the Bearspaw treatment plant. The broken feeder main to the rest of the city has nothing to do with NW Calgary /1

So then why is NW Calgary currently under water restrictions when they get their water from Bearspaw? Has the plant been turned off? Surely the supply to the NW is not contingent on the broken feeder main. You can see that clearly from the water main map. /2
I did a search on Twitter to find all the related comments and it was the most fun I’ve had on a Saturday night in a long time. Some of the remarks had me in tears I was laughing so hard. It’s so obvious this is a wake-up call. It’s absurd.

Airdrie Mayor and certified asshole Peter Brown says Calgary’s water restrictions are not a burden because third world countries don’t have water.
Most there in the comments get it. They compared it to the “2 weeks to flatten the curve” and many said the globalist mayor wasn’t going to be adhering to her own restrictions and neither would they.
I’m shocked Calgarians are snitching on each other. Obviously some still have heads firmly implanted in the sand.

Nice to hear, Calgary. At least a few are awake. Someone said golf courses were still getting watered while kids were told they couldn’t use their water guns or have a water balloon fight. It’s obviously a test to see who’s awake and how far they can push Calgarians. Can you imagine—3 minute showers and no lawn watering.

Riddle me this. The water treatment plant was not compromised in any way. The current demand is less than it was a week ago with that main being off. So why the restrictions? It sucks for those in the affected area, but it’s less than 10% of Calgary. This is covid 2.0.
Calgary Mayor says too early to assess impact of restrictions on Stampede 2024
I am willing to bet that since Stampede is just around the corner that the 3 – 5 weeks they said it would take to complete all the repairs newly discovered in their “scan” of the pipes will miraculously evaporate so the city and the province don’t lose the revenue generated every year by the 10-day spectacle called the Calgary Stampede.
Today they are reporting that the Stamped will go on. Of course it will!
They will not expect visitors to forego showers or adhere to water restrictions. Can you imagine them telling travellers they would have to use their hotel pool in lieu of showers? What if they closed the pools?

I’ve never mentioned this before, but a few years ago, not sure how long, I noticed on my iPad when I was in message create mode that a bar at the bottom of the screen had text in it that didn’t apply to what I was typing.
There were three boxes along the bottom. The left one had my first name in it; the adjacent one said “Patriot” and the third had a number 1 or Roman numeral I or capital I. It was like that for maybe a year or more. I don’t remember.
At first I didn’t know what to make of it, but after awhile I took it to mean the White Hats know who I am, what I’m doing, and have access to my device. Those boxes are gone now and have been for awhile but I thought any doubters might need to hear that because it seems obvious it was a “comm” for me, and approval for what I am doing; a little pat on the back or a high five. They see all and know all.
