Happy 4th of July weekend to all. Since I was without Internet for hours again on Tuesday [third time in 6 days] and by the time it came back up I was preparing for an Independence Day party it nixed my plans to do a post.
It was encouraging, however, to engage with a group of mid-twenties folks on the fourth and hear they’ve researched and embraced the truth about their reality. Their conversation covered a belief in interdimensional Beings, flat Earth, aliens, Covid, and the stolen money to be returned to us when the country is restored.
Perhaps best of all were the reports that some Space Force/Cheyenne Mountain folks in Colorado told a family member working there providing services for them that they take their orders from Elon Musk. They couldn’t say much, but that was enough for this patriot to thrill to the beat of the military intervention.
Later conversations involved the corrupt medical system and the role of natural healing and personal accountability, the debate, the red tape or shocking speed involved in obtaining suppressors [silencers] and more.
All in all it was a stimulating evening conversation-wise. Texans have great, multi-generational friends and the 112 degree temperatures just meant the younger folks and the dogs were enjoying the pool. It occurred to me the whole affair was a colourful snapshot of middle America complete with a patriotic flower arrangement on the table. We were sure we heard a military jet after dinner but never did get the visual.
Tonight we’re fixin’ to do it again on a much smaller scale and at 5:00 will be somewhere so this will be an abbreviated post but I did want to share some of the large volume of interesting updates that came my way—while I have connectivity. Who knows what tomorrow will bring? When telecom companies have monopolies and assigned territories, there is no competition and no incentive to provide good service. Some folks swear by Starlink and they service the world.
This was an interesting bit. When the military tells you to close the airport, you comply. Reasons are not required—at least not truthful ones. Why do it? To prevent criminals from escaping, for one thing. There’s a roundup going on, dontcha know?

The Caribbean is a volatile place with Beryl whipping through this week. Winds dropped to around 100 mph on the Yucatan Peninsula but expectations are it will pick up the pace and swoop northward to make landfall in Texas, as they so often do. The question is, will Beryl pass on through quickly or stall in one place as the Florida storm did a couple of weeks ago and drop a deluge of liquid sunshine on the coast for hours? It’s not difficult to flood Texas in the coastal areas so we hope folks are prepared but maybe we’ll be surprised this time. In2ThinAir has a knack for making very accurate predictions, however.
