I’ve also never seen a thermal ‘hoax’ video, certainly not one depicting military assets. Regardless of anyone’s disbelief in the technology depicted, there’s no reason the U.S. Government can’t issue a formal on the record statement about these videos. There is no doubt the U.S. military knows exactly what happened to MH370. Between SBIRS, SOSUS, and OTH Radar, it’s impossible for the military to not have had surveillance on a rogue Boeing 777 flying for ~8 hours past military exercises and two of the most advanced bases on the planet.
