It’s clear we still have a lot to do if we are to fix this corrupt, toxic world we live in. There was no accountability for food processing, for example. The Food and Drug Administration was paid to smooth the way for the cabal’s toxic products and block the healthy ones we really needed.
I usually buy half and half or cereal cream from Trader Joe’s and it’s reasonably priced and delicious. Out of convenience, I purchased a quart by Lucerne from Albertsons/Safeway recently and when I looked more closely, while it was marketed as “half and half”, it also said “fat free” on it. How can it be fat free when half and half is half milk and half cream? Cream has butter fat in it. On closer inspection, the ingredient list said fat free milk and included corn syrup. Egads! And they can call this “half and half”?! It was awful and I dumped it down the drain.
Fry’s haven’t had the lactose-free milk my other half needs in their cooler for weeks. He says that brand is the best for his system. They carry the Lactaid brand and A2 which aren’t as effective, but not their own. I tasted it once and while it claims to be just milk but without the offending ingredients, it was way too sweet and had to have something else in it they didn’t reveal on the label—probably corn syrup—and I’m wondering if they were called on it and had to reformulate.
The Kroger brand of orange juice my other half likes was in the same boat. They just don’t have it any more. They have a different juice they call “Kroger Premium Orange Juice”. Why the product changes? Is it just rebranding? I’m really tired of weaponized food. We can’t trust the labels.
